Used Oil Collection
Across India

CPCB and RPCB authorized used oil collection for industries, power utilities, telecom operators, hotels and PSUs. Full hazardous waste documentation for every pickup. Zero compliance risk for your organization.

What is Used Oil Collection?

Used oil — also called waste oil or spent oil — is any petroleum-based lubricant that has been contaminated through use in machinery, engines, or electrical equipment. Under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules 2016, used oil is classified as Schedule-II hazardous waste in India.

As a generator of used oil (factory, power plant, hotel, railway workshop, data centre), you are legally required to:

  • Store used oil in sealed, labelled containers
  • Hand it over only to a CPCB-authorized recycler with a Form-10 manifest
  • File Form-4 annual returns with your State PCB by June 30 each year
  • Never mix used oil with other waste, sell it to informal roadside collectors, or dump it
⚖️

Penalty for non-compliance: Up to ₹1 lakh fine + ₹5,000/day continued violation + potential imprisonment under Section 15 of the Environment Protection Act 1986. Handing oil to an unauthorized collector transfers liability to you.
